October Planning

October signals the real start of autumn with the colder weather approaching and the days shorter than the nights. The month does offer a number of trading opportunities, which should be planned for now. Halloween on 31st October and lead up to Bonfire Night on 5th November. Also Diwali on 4th November. Halloween in particular is becoming bigger every year.  

It should also be noted that with all the baking activity in the media home baking has re-emerged as a popular activity after years in the doldrums. This will be reflected in the demand for baking ingredients.
