Old Jamaica: Guava and Melon Crush flavour

Cott Beverages is set to extend the line-up of its Old Jamaica soft drinks portfolio in April, with the launch of its brand new Guava and Melon Crush flavour.

Bringing a twist of summer to the classic non-alcoholic range of soft drinks, the new taste combines exotic guava and refreshing melon to create the perfect Caribbean refreshment.

Gavin Herbert, Senior Brand Manager at Old Jamaica, said: "Our new Guava and Melon Crush flavour marks a really exciting time for the brand, and an equally exciting time to be stocking Old Jamaica. The crushes category is seeing growth within convenience stores*, making it a great sales opportunity – particularly going into the summer months. April will also see a huge distribution drive for the new product, reaching up to 5,000 independent convenience stores. The new Guava and Melon Crush flavour will offer our existing customers something extra special, whilst also presenting us with the opportunity to reach new consumers who not have tried our products before.

"We’ve also got more to look forward to, with our brand new TV advert airing soon, raising brand awareness and driving purchase as we head into the warmer months."

The new flavour builds on the well-established and much loved heritage of Old Jamaica, and will join the existing soft drinks line-up, including Orange and Mango, Grape Soda and Fruit Punch, extending the range of occasions when Old Jamaica can be enjoyed. Old Jamaica's soft drinks portfolio features the UK's No.1 Ginger Beer Brand*, as well as a range of delicious flavours inspired by the Caribbean, helping to upgrade summer sales.

Old Jamaica Guava and Melon Crush is available in 500ml PET bottles from wholesalers.
